We were a little hesitant about planning a wedding abroad specially after seen firsthand how a bad wedding planner can affect the overall experience of a wedding. For us, it was important to have someone who instill confidence and could help ease our anxiety as we went on the planning journey. We interviewed a couple of local wedding planners before meeting with Leire and the one thing that stood out immediately with her was her warm and proactive attitude. I remember expressing interest during our first call in our venue and she immediately let me know that in the month of June, there were two weddings already booked but she could easily check on the dates and place a hold on the date I wanted even before we even hired her. We didn鈥檛 expect an answer quickly as we met with her right around New Years, but at 6 AM on Jan. 2, we had an e-mail from her confirming that the venue was available on the date we wanted and placed a hold for us. It was at that moment, that we knew she was the one 馃槈
Throughout the process, Leire remained close to us and was always happy to schedule a call if we shared that any anxiety around anything wedding related. She was able to bring my Pinterest board to life and even found the perfect flower vendor to do the bouquet I wanted and do the hanging calla lilies (which I thought was so not possible).
We had the most amazing wedding almost a month ago and Leire, the vendors and all her team made sure it went smoothly. From the cocktail hour to Juantxos for a late-night snack, the evening was perfect, and it was all thanks to her. During and after the wedding, we kept getting compliments from our guest about how it was one, if not, the best wedding they had attended. We cannot thank Leire enough for everything she did.
