We found Leire and her company 20eventos on Instagram and we’re glad we did as our wedding was a massive success.

Leire has plenty of vendors across all categories she works with and if you ask any of them during the interview process, they will say she is one of the best and very good at what she does. They also continue to say that as you move through the process, and likewise all of her vendors were so great to work with. She keeps good company which is good for you :).

If you’re expecting someone to just bend to every request, Leire isn’t the right person for you. However, that’s a really good thing because she also brings a healthy dose of reality in certain situations even if it’s not you want to hear sometimes because she is very experienced and knows what are the do’s and dont’s from a wedding scheduling and timing perspective. You need that when you’re planning a wedding in another country. Like when she said suggested we not take gobs of group photos after the ceremony during the cocktail, I’m glad we listened to her because otherwise we would have not found time to enjoy the day had we done what we originally wanted to do photowise. Trust her – she knows what she’s doing.

That being said Leire did entertain so many of our crazy ideas and asks for personal touches and accommodated our indecisiveness at times. All the while she kept the plot going and planned and designed a beautiful wedding for us. The floral design was extraordinary and beyond our wildest imagination. Thank you so much as our friends literally said it was like a fairy tale and we are forever grateful for that.

Not only that Leire was a bevy of knowledge and help for certain things on the side, going beyond her scope (which were so grateful) such as helping us finding a local laundry place to steam our wedding clothes, finding a last minute nail salon by calling a friend to helping us extend the shuttle company for one of our pre-wedding events.

And then let’s talk about the day of. Pretty great experience and the support was great between helping us navigate the schedule and moving through the day with gentle nudges here and there, coordinating with the whole squad of vendors. Our wedding day seriously went off without a hitch and she expedited and corralled everyone. Her team including Jon and Marta were really great and you can see how well she works together with all of the vendors.

TLDR: If you’re planning a wedding in the Basque Country you should absolutely go with Leire and her team.
