I’m from San Sebastián but live in the US, so we needed help planning our wedding. Leire made my wedding an absolute dream! I searched for months trying to find the right wedding planner in Spain. Since my husband and I are both based in the US, I wanted to not only work locally but also with someone who had great relationships with other vendors and knew the area…Leire was perfect! Leire is highly organized; she kept all vendors accountable, maintained schedules and budgets, and prepared formal design proposals for our Welcome Party and Wedding Day. Upon receipt of her design proposal, it became clear to us that she understood our vision even better than we did, as her creativity knows no limits. She came up with fun suggestions that expanded on our initial requests – we loved the end result because it was true to our entire vision but with even more flair and grandeur. Every vendor she suggested was exceptional. Any feedback that we provided she received wholeheartedly and made us feel heard.
We are Americans and planned our Spanish wedding remotely; Leire acted as our boots on the ground, going to onsite visits for us and promptly sharing videos and photos. We knew from the beginning that Leire was as invested in the success of our wedding as we were, and this kept us feeling supported rather than anxious throughout the entirety of the planning.

Leire is local to San Sebastian, and her reputation and network throughout the city will benefit anyone who is working with her. Upon several occasions we were told that a request was not possible, and each time Leire met directly with venue owners or liaised with colleagues in town to address our requests – and in the end was able to get them all resolved. Leire truly made our dreams come true!

Both my husband and I are working full time and based in the US, we didn’t have a lot of time to dedicate to the wedding planning.

Leire was able to understand what we were looking for (for the decoration, the food, the party, etc.) very quickly.

By the end of the wedding planning, I gave her full autonomy on certain decisions, like what the seating assignment would look like for example and she made it all perfect – she does have great taste I have to say!

What amazed me the most is her attention to details, she thought of everything and the details are really what makes the decoration (and the organization) perfect!

I am local but we live abroad, so decided to get some help to prepare our wedding, initially planned for July 2020.

Among all wedding planners, Leire and her team were the most experienced of all. It takes her seconds to suggest the best supplier around or provide ideas to make your wedding not only perfect but memorable.

We have been planning our wedding with Leire for almost 4 years, as we had to reschedule our wedding for 2022. She was there to support us and pour the extra hours to reorganize everything. It’s in times of adversity when you know who stands by you, and she clearly did.

This past weekend, we finally celebrated our wedding. And we couldn’t be happier. From the church blessing, to the lunch, to the party, she managed to advise us and help us craft a multi-cultural wedding to everyone’s liking, without having to worry about anything during the big day.

The best decision we made when planning our wedding was hiring Leire and 20Eventos. Leire brought our wedding vision to life. She took the time to get to know and understand us and executed our vision in every detail. Leire also helped us plan several events leading up to the wedding with all of our guests, and the whole weekend was perfectly organized and ran like clockwork. The end result was not only an absolutely beautiful wedding we will never forget, but a fun party all of our friends and family are still talking about. 
Planning a wedding can be stressful, especially from another country, but Leire made the process as easy as possible. Every vendor we worked with was not only professional but also extremely talented. She is very organized, responsive and has a lot of creative ideas. Not to mention, she is caring, genuine and went above and beyond in any question or need we had. She never pressured or pushed us into anything but also shared her opinion and helped guide us. She made us feel like we were her top priority, and in reality, I know she is juggling a number of weddings. I can’t say enough positive things about Leire. We are so glad we hired her, and very thankful for the beautiful, dream wedding she helped us create. 

I can not say enough good things about Leire, she went above and beyond for us since the start. When we initially reached out, she was very responsive and we even had a few phone calls / facetime calls months before the big day. She sent recommendations for hair and makeup, photographers, venues, flowers you NAME it. Not only did she send the best recommendations but reached out and coordinated everything. I had to get my nails done and she even got me into her nail salon last minute – I mean just amazing! 

We stayed in Barcelona and Madrid before the wedding and she sent us places to eat and shop while we were there. She is like a friend.

Organizing a wedding, especially from abroad, is not an easy task. As the date gets closer, and the budget tighter, things easily slip out of control and the “dream day” can start to look more stressing than rejoicing. This did not happen for us. We were smart enough to book 20eventos services. This decision alleviated many problems and allowed us to enjoy much more our time before and on the wedding date. Not only is Leire very well connected with all the local companies, she is also helpful, has good taste, and was very available when needed (even in the unavoidable last minute requests). “I started my career in catering and events almost 20 years ago and eventually moved into the convention planning arena. I procure space and negotiate contracts for groups varying in size with my largest group having over 25,000 attendees. I tell you this because when I started the planning process for my own wedding, in a different country then where I live, I knew enough about the planning business to know I needed a Wedding Planner. And not just any Wedding Planner, I needed the best. I know this business, I know what it entails to pull off an amazing event and I knew I would have very little tolerance for someone who might not be the very best. 

We started working with a WP and it wasn’t going bad but I was not overly impressed. I spoke with my fiancé about it and we started looking at other websites to see who else was out there to help us. We found 20 Eventos. The amount of recommendations we found for 20 Eventos was ridiculous. No other WP had any where near as many or as positive. We had our first call with Leire and I knew that we found the right person to help us. She was very direct, very honest and best of all, very capable. Our family and friends kept asking us if we were nervous or stressed out from the planning and I can tell you honestly, we never were either. Leire took care of everything for us, including the stress!

She gave her opinion when she knew we needed it but we always felt like we were making all of the decisions. We passed along pictures of what we liked and she made the pictures into reality. The day was perfect. And by perfect I mean not a single thing went wrong. It was beautiful, I am pretty sure every guest told us that it was the best wedding they had ever been to, including a cousin who had just gotten married. Hiring Leire as a day-of coordinator was absolutely one of the best decisions we made for our wedding in San Sebastian with 90 guests. Thank you for EVERYTHING you did for our wedding! Everyone had the absolute best time because of Leire. But what’s really important is that Franics and I had the best day of our lives (no joke!)! It was so full of magic, romance, excitement, love, fun, family, friends, great food, great drinks, and wonderful service… I could seriously go on, and on, and on.
