From San Francisco to San Sebastian with love!!

Hi everyone!

the wedding that we are showing you today belongs to a lovely couple named Michelle and Jason who came from San Francisco.

They did a big wedding in their country but wanted to do another wedding with their closest friends and family in their favorite city in the world “San Sebastian”.

For that reason they decided to plan a destination wedding in San Sebastian and contacted us.

Since the very first moment Michelle and I connected, we spoke the same language and we enjoyed a lot planning all the details of the wedding. Not a lot of meetings where required, we caught her style easily and she loved the proposal that we did for the decoration of her wedding.

The style should be classic, elegant but infused with touches of what the bride and groom most like in the world food (pintxos in the case of San Sebastian) and traveling.

The colors chosen for the wedding were light and dark blue, grey green and white.

Michelle got ready at the Hotel María Cristina surrounded by her bridesmaids and one man maid. She was make up by Maria Chang and her hair was done by her friend Andrew Chen  who was  invited to the wedding. Both took care of her look all the day and the days before and after for the different parties and activities that were planned.

She was really beautiful in her gown designed by Essense of Australia and the shoes were designed by Jimmy Choo… Jason’s tuxedo belong to Suit Supply.

Michelle and Jason took the photos before the wedding ceremony and right after they went to Miramar Palace where the ceremony was going to take place.
This palace is located in the best part of the city with nice views of the bay of San Sebastián.

The music during the ceremony was provided by a pianist. It was a very solemn ceremony full of beautiful moments.

When the ceremony finish all the guest were transport to the venue where they will enjoy amazing food. Mirador de Ulía is a one Michelin start restaurant.  It is a beautiful venue with amazing views over the sea. The food is amazing and delicious.

The area where the reception took place was decorated as an andalucian patio, with a person cutting Jamón, it look like as we were in Seville. All the flowers were provided by Flowers & Co, they did an amazing job. Thanks Izaskun and team!

There was a life jazz band that played during all the time that the reception took place.

The seating plan was a beautiful frame with hand lettered personalized cards, did by Michelle.

To protect guest from the sun we hired some umbrellas and set up some high tables.

The decoration of the inside of the venue was simple but elegant. Centerpieces in different highs with different flowers in White color. There were set up candles to have a cozy and intimate ambience. Each table had the name of a city where Michelle and Jason had been before.

For cutting the cake the bride and groom ask us to bring the famous cheese cake from La Viña.

It was a beautiful and amazing wedding day, full of funny moments.

We won’t forget this wedding in a long time. After their wedding Michelle and Jason came back again to San Sebastian and we enjoyed together a glass of red wine. Also they came to my birthday party and everyone was in loved with them. This is the case that clients become friends.

I wish you all the best and I hope to keep sharing with you nice moments.

Best! Leire
